“Watch it closely. An aggressive elbow straight to the chin, nowhere near a genuine attempt to play the ball, and the opponent is clearly knocked out.
“That’s violent conduct. End of discussion.
“Red card on the day, followed by a serious suspension.
“This is exactly the sort of incident that referees get abused for when they apply the Laws properly, while others shout ‘let the game flow’.”
Asked if the referee saw it, James Roberts replied: “nothing happened, the fans showed the vid the the ref but he couldn’t do anything about it because it was too late”
Regarding context: “absolutely no reason at all just because danny won the penalty”

@AndrewRuscoe: Paying £3k A week playing budget to go around doing shit like that! Disgusting behaviour! People in Prison have more respectful standards! 😡
@Rory_Talks_Ball: This is the sort of thing where it should really be a criminal repercussion rather than just a footballing one. It’s a violent assault and has nothing to do with the actual game
@CymruPitchside: The more you view it the worse it gets. Can see the intent, looks over his shoulder before swinging. Disgraceful behaviour ❌
@CfcBlay: Absolutely shameful scenes at Trearddur Bay. If this is what Taylor brings to the sport, a lifetime ban is the only answer.
