Sheffield Wednesday fan caught on video spitting at West Brom fans

A Sheffield Wednesday fan has been caught on video spitting at West Brom fans during Saturday’s Championship fixture at The Hawthorns.

Jayson Molumby earned a 96th minute winner for the Baggies, who who sit 5th in the table, with 47 points from 31 games played, while the Owls are 11th with 42 points from 31 games, 3 points from the playoff places.

Adam Armstrong netted on his Baggies debut in the 74th minute, but Wednesday found an equaliser four minutes into stoppage time as Callum Paterson fired home.

As you can see further down in the article, Kyle Bartley also received a red card for striking Svante Ingelsson in the face with his arm after tensions escalated.

Despite his claims of innocence, he was shown a red card for violent conduct in the aftermath of the incident.

Footage has since emerged on a fan in the away end spitting at the West Brom supporters beside then, separated by stewards.
