“Sell him in a hurry” – Club urged to accept ‘sensational’ Aston Villa offer

There is Premier League interest in AC Milan’s Krzysztof Piatek, with Aston Villav and West Ham reported to be keen in signing him up.

Sportmediaset revealed on Wednesday that it’s the Midlands club that have made the first move to purchase him by putting forward a proposal to buy the player outright for a figure between €28m and €30m.

It’s not hard to why clubs are looking at him after quickly becoming a hero at AC Milan, having signed him from Genoa less than a year ago.

The striker amazed by scoring a total of 30 times in 42 matches, however he’s somewhat lost that form this season after scoring just four times in 18 appearances.

With that in mind, Milan already want to axed the Poland international, especially with the return of Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

Beppe Bergomi, an Italian football pundit and former Inter Milan player, suggests that if the Aston Villa offer is genuine, then AC Milan should be accepting it without thinking.

Quoted by Milan News, he said: “If Aston Villa has really put €30m on the plate for Piatek, sell him in a hurry. It is a sensational figure for the performance that he’s having this season.”

Piatek will be hoping that if he does end up leaving Milan come the end of January, he can make a fair few people eat their words.
