Scott Carson gets ‘kicked out’ of Man City title celebrations for ‘trying to fight fellow partygoer’

Man City reserve player Scott Carson gets ‘kicked out’ of the title celebrations at 4am after ‘trying to fight a fellow partygoer’.

Carson, 38, was said to have been removed from the venue for reportedly being involved in an altercation, bringing an end to his night.

Just hours after Man City were crowned Premier League champions for a fourth consecutive time, the boozy celebrations soon started and went on until 5am at Greek restaurant Fenix, the Daily Mail reports.

It was around 4am, that SplashNews.com claim that the Man City reserve goalkeeper had been seen being removed from a venue by security after he tried to fight with a fellow reveller.

In 2023, Scott Carson hit back after being criticised on social media claiming he had done nothing to earn his two Champions League medals.

Carson was given a winners medal after he watched from the bench as Man City beat Inter Milan 1-0 in the final in Istanbul.

This became his, and the club’s third major honour in what was an outstanding season in which they also won the Premier League and FA Cup – an historic treble.

This was the second time Carson won a Champions League medal, having been on the bench for Liverpool when they won the competition in 2005 – also in Istanbul.

The Twitter user tweeted: “Scott Carson. Twice champions league winner without playing a minute”, with a round of applause emoji.

However Carson then wrote: “90 minutes quarter-final do your research lad,” adding two medal emojis.

Guardiola always praises Carson, in 2022, he said: “The best advice I could give to the young players is to stay around Scott Carson as much as possible in the locker room and on the pitch.

“It would be better than being with me. If they spend a lot of time [with him], listen to him and pay attention, that is the best advice and learning they can get about their future careers.

“Every second he is training and every minute you get on the pitch and in the changing room [with Carson], you value. It’s like the young actors have to be with the old actors on the set. They are wiser and have the values of the profession.”

Carson penned a new deal ahead of the 2023/24 season and Guardiola gave an insight into his influence. He said: “We spoke this morning. He deserves it [new contract]. He is a guy when he talks everybody listens.

“He helps take quality training sessions, especially after a game. We have him. In the locker room and with the staff you cannot believe the impact [he has], we are very pleased to have him.”

Back to the 2024 City title celebrations now and there were many players who brought along their partners, even Guardiola, with his wife, joining in the party mood after he successfully guiding his team to their sixth Premier League title in seven seasons.

Of course, Jack Grealish was present in a £2,000 matching Gucci shirt and trousers and had quite a heavy night, with headlines saying he was ‘stumbling out of bars looking worse for wear’.

He also had a good sing song, with Natasha Bedingfield’s ‘Unwritten’ being one of those as he posted a video on socials.

Man City’s players soon made their way out of Fenix at 5am, with Rodri and Kevin De Bruyne also looking like they had quite the night.

De Bruyne was slumped in the back of a taxi at the early hours, while his teammate Ederson clutched onto a £1,280 bottle of red wine and Matheus Nunes with a friend holding a pair of £700 golden bottles of Ace of Shades Champagne.
