It has been revealed that Sam Allardyce is at 6/1 to return to West Ham if Manuel Pellegrini loses his job.
There is certainly a huge amount of pressure on Pellegrini after losing all four of their opening Premier League games.
The Chilean is currently joint favourite with Manchester United’s Jose Mourinho to be sacked at 3/1.
However, it is said that Karren Brady has ‘complete faith’ in Manuel Pellegrini and that he is not in ‘imminent danger’ from being removed as the club’s head coach.
It is also said that David Moyes is another contender for the job at the Hammers, but is a much bigger price at 16/1 with Betfair.

Betfair Spokesperson Katie Baylis said: “West Ham’s woes have well and truly continued into this season with the East Londoners the only team across all the leagues without a single point this season, it’s no surprise that Manuel Pellegrini’s neck is on the line.
“With calls from some, including West Ham hero Tony Cottee, that Moyes should have been given longer, we make it 16/1 that he’ll be back at London Stadium in charge of his former team.
“While it’s been a bit longer since Sam Allardyce was in charge at the club, he’s 6/1 to come back as he seemingly sits waiting to pounce on any vacant managerial positions that may arise in the Premier League in the coming weeks.”
After seeing reports, West Ham fans have taken to social media to debate on whether Sam Allardyce would be a good appointment or not. They also named some other suggestions who could potentially replace Pellegrini – check out those tweets on the next page.
