Rotherham and QPR fans try to get at each other yet were hilariously stopped after running into a fence outside the ground.
A double from Jordan Hugill gave a boost to Rotherham’s hopes of avoid Championship relegation and brought QPR closer towards the bottom three.
Hugill netted his first Millers goal since his January move from Norwich, converting from Chiedozie’s cross.
After Rob Dickie had brought him down, Hugill was on hand again to double their lead with a second half spot kick.
Jamal Lowe struck home a spot-kick to reduce the deficit. Hakeem Ooffin made it three for the hosts to rule out any potential comeback for QPR.

QPR’s Gareth Ainsworth said to the club website: “I didn’t feel there was much in the game but silly mistakes cost us,” Ainsworth said, following his first away game in charge.
“The boys are giving everything out on the pitch and I couldn’t fault their effort.
“We’ve got to defend better, though, without a shadow of doubt.
“The goalkeeper’s made a great save from Stef but apart from that we didn’t really test him,” he said.
“I’m hoping the fans are seeing us create more chances than they were just before I came in. It’s just about finishing them now.”
“I thought Aaron [Drewe] was fantastic, I really did. He epitomises the young boys at this club and has got some real potential.
“It also sends a message about how big the injury list is right now. I’ve got an actual XI in the treatment room which I could field in a game.
“I just want people to stay patient because the cavalry is coming.
“We’ve got some youngsters coming through who are going to do well at this club but at the moment, in the battle we’re in, I’m crying out for the experienced lads to be back and hopefully they will be soon.
The spirit is getting better and hopefully a win is just around the corner.”

Rotherham’s Matt Taylor said via Sky Sports: “To have 40 points with 11 games left, I am not sure we have been in this position in this league too often.
“We have to make the most of the remaining games.
“Any points put us in the right direction.
“We know how difficult this league is and how difficult QPR would be.
“We need to keep on picking up points and building the belief.
“We wanted to bring QPR back into the mix and we would like to do the same with Birmingham next week.
“It was scrappy at times, without being disrespectful to them.
“They have changed their style with the new manager.
“They are very much back to front.
“I thought we stood up to it relatively well.
“We also showed some quality moments going forward.
“The goals were quality.
“Their goal came out of nothing.
“It was a strange feeling.
“There was a little bit of shock around the ground.
“It was important we were the aggressor after their goal.
“It was a big moment for Jordan today and the first time he’d been captain.
“I like what he stands for and the way he plays the game.”
