Ross Kemp shows passion in celebrating Harry Kane scoring winner against DR Congo

Ross Kemp shows passion in celebrating Harry Kane scoring England their winner against DR Congo at the World Cup.

The Three Lions sure made it a nervy one, going 1-0 down after 8 minutes, but then sparked a come back second half.

It wouldn’t be a major tournament if we didn’t have Ross Kemp doing his video updates, he took to Instagram stories to give his thoughts throughout the game. He didn’t disappoint.

He’s what he had to say…

“I’m to say something really, really obvious now. We need a goal before half time. We need a goal before half time.

“On paper, we have it in us. In our hearts, I know we have it in us. Our ability, which has been sadly lacking, the facts and the stats say that we should be way better than this team.

“But we have to believe in ourselves now and we need that goal before half time.

“We’ve come close, but they’re going to pack that goal. Going to need a can opener to find a way through that.

“But that’s Tuchel’s job. They’ve got to come out a different team. They’ve got to want it more than the DRC and they’ve got to prove to themselves and to the nation how much they want it now.

“But I know that we can win this game. I believe we can win this game. So come on England!

“They will suck that up all day long. We’re just pushing it out wide, crossing it to no one in the middle. I’m sorry, even I know that about football.

“And we need someone who can take them on and that person is Rashford. And if he’s fit, it’s time he came on.

“We need somebody who can take them on, beat a player and lay it off to somebody who can put it in the back of the net. And we need that to happen right now. Sorry.

“Yes! Yes! Harry Kane! Harry Kane! That’s what we’re talking about! Great changes! Made a massive difference! Opened them up! Come on England!

“Come on England! Close it down! Close it down! Four minutes! Four minutes! Plus extra time! My God, why do you do this to me? But come on England!

“Six more minutes. Six more minutes and we win.

“No more sinning mistakes. Hold it. Close it. Do not allow them in now. My heart could not deal with the penalties.

“Come on England! Come on England!

Tuchel, Kane, Rice, Gordon, Anderson react as England come back to beat DR Congo

“Well this is it, isn’t it? This is… This is my England. You know… 95… 33 seconds and we’ve given a free kick away just outside the box. Miss it, miss it, miss it, miss it.

“Oh Harry Kane, Harry Kane, we love you, we love you. Why does it have to be dentistry every time? Why do we have to do it like this? And now we’ve got Mexico and the Azteca.

“But you know what? If you can beat that kind of belief, then we are capable of winning the whole thing. But we need to sort our defence out just a little bit.

“However, come on England. Come on. Come on England! Harry Kane, we love you.”
