Racist chants at Forest Green, ended up stopping the League Two match with allegations made at a group of supporters towards Scunthorpe players.
It came halfway through the second half with the referee John Busby halting the game with the away side 2-0 up, he went over and spoke to both managers.

Sky Sports reporter Tony Colliver said: “The tannoy announcement stated that it would not be tolerated.
“I’m not sure what exactly the situation is but if it happens again I think both teams will have to come off. Certainly a very unsavoury incident.”
Scunthorpe manager Paul Hurst said: “I wondered what was going on initially and then the referee came over and said the fourth official had been made aware of a racist comment towards Jordan Clarke. The referee said there was no plans to stop the game at that time.
“I mentioned about an announcement, which later followed, and helped everyone in the stadium. There was then a lot of sympathy and understanding about halting the game.
“Some of the Forest Green fans were singing towards the individual who made the comment that it is unacceptable and we all know that.
“Forest Green have been very good after the game, and reported it to the FA and if they find the individual he will be dealt with.
“Forest Green have had a lot of press for the way they do things. There is a lot of good that goes on here and I don’t think one individual reflects Forest Green. They have been excellent with their help and dealing with the situation.”
Forest Green manager Mark Cooper declined to comment on the situation.
The club are set to check CCTV as part of the investigation into the incident.
WHAT IS THE THREE STEP PROTOCOL?
As the protocol states, the first step is to: “Stop the match and instruct the stadium authorities to read out an announcement, calling upon the spectators to stop the discriminatory behaviour.”
The second step is: “If this announcement does not have the desired effect, make another announcement, suspend the match and send the players to their dressing rooms for a specific period.”
And finally, step three: “After consultation, abandon the match if the discriminatory behaviour still does not cease or breaks out again.”
After finding out about the racist chant allegations, fans took to slam the culprits and others targeting their anger to Forest Green owner Dale Vince – see those tweets on the next page.
