QPR player Reggie Cannon ended up being struck by objects thrown from Millwall fans with the referee halting the match on Saturday.
West London Sport report how just after making a clearance, Cannon took a heavy knock before items chucked by those in the away end struck him as he laid out on the pitch.
The feisty local derby stop started on a number of occasions to deal with the trouble playing out in the stands, before resuming again.

The Championship fixture saw Ilias Chair and Sinclair Armstrong seal a much needed victory for Queens Park Rangers to boost their survival hopes.
The opening goal came on 27 minutes when Chair got on the end of Willock’s cross to stab the ball home with Millwall not getting their first chance until on the verge of half time with Nisbet managing to scoop it well over.
Millwall did come close to getting that leveller, only for Cannon to prevent Mitchell’s effort from deflecting in on 70 minutes.
Then with 5 minutes left of the 90, Sarkic spilled a shot from Colback shot and Sinclair was there to tuck the rebound away.
QPR: Begovic, Cannon, Cook, Clarke-Salter, Paal, Colback, Field, Willock (Adomah 84′), Dykes, Chair (Larkeche 90+3′), Armstrong (Dixon-Bonner 89′)
Subs: Dunne, Talla, Fox, Drewe, Walsh, Pedder
Millwall: Sarkic, McNamara, Harding, Cooper, Norton-Cuffy (Tanganga 67′), Honeyman, Mitchell, Bryan (Wallace 67′), Watmore, Flemming, Nisbet (Longman 56′)
Subs: Bialkowski, Campbell, Saville, De Norre, Esse, Grant
Millwall head coach Joe Edwards said after the game, as per Sky Sports: “In pretty much every department we were not good enough and that’s incredibly frustrating.
“It can be really frustrating when it feels like there’s a lot of good work going on, good performances, progress and signs we’re building, and then today out of nowhere you have a performance like that.
“QPR are in a difficult position and they came out fighting, particularly in the second half, and we couldn’t match it.
“The flow of our attacks in recent weeks – we’ve been ripping through teams and today we didn’t do that.
“Today we became predictable very early on and I’m not sure why. QPR grew into the game, whereas we just got stuck in our half and played predictable football, which was absolutely not our plan.
“QPR didn’t start well and we settled quickly, but it was like that lulled us into a false sense of security. We were then unable to break into any kind of intensity.”

Marti Cifuentes said after the game, as per the club website: “The small margins prevented us in recent weeks but definitely to win in a game like this, it is massive for us and our supporters.
“I think we deserved the victory, we didn’t concede many chances, we created enough to score the goals that we did and I am very pleased for the connection with the supporters as they were very important for the 90 minutes.”
“In this moment of the season we know it is very important.
“In this moment of the season where things are starting to get a bit tighter, this is what we would expect, especially early on in the game.
“There was a lot of unforced mistakes, we couldn’t keep the ball on the ground and combine in the way that we wanted to but I think that the goal gave us the calm that we were looking for and since then I thought we performed at a good level.
“Once again I will praise the team – when Millwall were pushing in the last minutes, we didn’t concede and defended the set-pieces well against a team who have been really strong in that area this year so full credit to the guys.
“Our job is to provide the players with the situations and we created them today. Since I arrived, the amount of chances we have created has been very low and we have looked to work in the final third.
“We are very happy but we have a massive task ahead of us. It won’t be easy and we need to keep improving in many areas.”
