Mansfield promoted, Portsmouth and Stockport crowned champions, Forest Green relegated

It’s been a busy Tuesday night with Mansfield promoted, Portsmouth and Stockport crowned champions, and Forest Green relegated.

Coming into the evening’s matches, we knew that Portsmouth’s next opportunity to win promotion for League One would be when they host Barnsley at Fratton Park, with a point enough to confirm they’d go up. A win would secure the title.

Fleetwood would go down from League One if results didn’t go their way.

Stockport would clinch the League Two title away at Notts County after winning promotion at the weekend.

And just one more win would see Mansfield join Stockport and Wrexham in League One, with MK Dons and Barrow the only teams able to catch the Stags.

Forest Green would also go down if results didn’t go their way.
