Plymouth Argyle supporters on their way back from Portsmouth had no choice but to evacuate their coach after it caught fire.
It was reported that the coach, which was carrying 49 fans, was destroyed after the incident which happened near Salisbury. Supporters were made to stand well away as firefighters put out the blaze.

The club confirmed the news on Twitter, writing: “To reassure our supporters whose coach caught fire near Salisbury on the way home, and their relatives and friends… Everyone is safe Stewards and drivers are coping.

Plymouth then put out a further tweet, updating supporters on the situation…

The fans were already having a bad day after they watched their side lose 3-0, Argyle’s third defeat in a row.
Ronan Curtis put Pompey one up after 22 minutes after he slotted his effort past the keeper.
The second half saw Jamal Lowe get on the end of a cross to make it 2-0. Curtis grabbed his second of the game just minutes later.
