Social media users gave their reaction to Liverpool’s win over Tottenham…
When this free-flowing Liverpool team start winning big games with such sh*thouse goals, then maybe it really is their year.

Give a new manager time to make the team his own and results will come. It takes time, and managers need time. Mr Klopp and @LFC great proof of that. We can all see what Klopp has done since he came. Brilliant!

Not even going to blame no new signings even though I’m sure many people will. No excuses to perform as badly as we did – so, so disjointed. No real urgency until we nicked a goal back in the final minutes of stoppage time. Never really troubled Liverpool when we had the ball.

A sharper Liverpool would probably have scored four or five today. The Lamela goal may have brought some respectability, but that was hopeless from Tottenham.

I once tweeted that I didn’t really know what @JamesMilner was on the football pitch. I do these days, and owe him an apology. He’s a terrific, versatile and intelligent footballer. My bad.

Majority of football fans mocked how poor Vorm was in goal…
Is Vorm Karius in disguise?
— Football Tweets (@FutballTweets) September 15, 2018
Pochettino might have to check to make sure that Vorm isn’t drunk as well

A better goalkeeper than Michel Vorm ?? pic.twitter.com/I2T0Gc4cb0

Vorm and Dier locked in a tense battle to see who can have the worst game. #TOTLIV

Michel Vorm making Petr Cech look like a competent goalkeeper

Others debated whether the goal seconds into the first half should have been disallowed…
Right – so – all the professionals on radio & TV are saying that Firmino goal SHOULD have stood.
But the linesman – understandably – got it wrong.
Fair call – or – are they wrong?
I still say that was a goal but i get why it was disallowed but NOT because of intent.
— smtm_lfc (@smtm_LFC) September 15, 2018
I’d like to see the disallowed goal from all angles.
Looked like the defender got a touch after Firmino which makes it a perfectly legal goal! #ynwa #lfc— Anthony (@ACharles86) September 15, 2018
That goal was wrongly disallowed, Mane never touched the ball
— Marvin LFC????? (@marvinlfc77) September 15, 2018
Bobby’s disallowed goal is why I want #VAR. Mané didn’t touch the ball. The studio says he interfered with play, but Vorm dove toward the ball’s original trajectory anyways. Give the ref the option to keep the flag down; the call will be reviewed before play is reset.#TOLIV
