PLAYER RATINGS: Spain 2-3 England

England produced a stunning performance as they beat Spain 3-2 tonight in the Nations League for what was the first international match at Betis’ ground since 1995.

In the opening half, the Three Lions let rip on the Spanish side, thanks to two goals from Raheem Sterling and Marcus Rashford.

The first of Sterling’s double came on the 18th minute, the Manchester City forward unleashed a fierce finish after receiving a pass from Rashford, to end his three year international goal drought.

30 minutes in and England found a second, this time from Rashford. Pickford sent a long pass over to Kane, who then plays a through ball, which found the 20 year old forward before slotting it past De Gea.

Just 8 minutes later, it was a third for the visitors. Kane cushioned Barkley’s pass and Sterling was there to score from close-range.

Close to the hour mark, Spain got one back after Paco Alcacer, who had only just come off the bench, was free at the near post and headed the ball which lobbed Pickford and into the net to get his tenth goal in his last six appearances.

On the 97th minute, Sergio Ramos dived in with a brilliant header from another cross to make the scoreline 3-2, straight after the referee blew his whistle.
