PLAYER RATINGS: Montenegro 1-5 England

It was again another comfortable night for England after they came out 5-1 winners over Montenegro tonight despite the shaky first quarter.

The deadlock broke in the 18th minute but surprisingly not in the Three Lions favour, as the hosts’ Vesovic cut in from the left and curled past Jordan Pickford.

They weren’t behind for too long however as around 10 minutes later England hit back to take control when Michael Keane redeemed himself for his sloppy start to rise up and head home Ross Barkley’s free-kick to level the score.

It was the start of a flurry of goals, as Callum Hudson-Odoi’s shot was turned in by Barkley to make it 3-1 on the 38th minute.

Barkley again was on the scoresheet in the 59th minute, sweeping in a second from 10 yards out.

20 minutes from time Harry Kane tapped in from Raheem Sterling’s cross for England’s fourth.

Raheem Sterling made it 5-1 in the final 10, taking a touch and coolly rolling the ball home.
