PHOTOS: Man wearing Newcastle shirt gets ejected from Shrewsbury v Sunderland

A man wearing a Newcastle United shirt was ejected from Shrewsbury Town’s League One match with Sunderland at the weekend.

The ‘fan’, in a white short-sleeved shirt with the Newcastle club badge on it, was seen with the Salop fans by the travelling supporters.

He was first noticed by Sunderland fans prior to the game kicking off as you can see below…

He was then spotted getting taken away by police…

The official Sunderland AFC Twitter account came across the tweet…

Spotting a Magpies fan is a regular occurrence at Sunderland matches, so much so, a fan account on Twitter has made a thread showing all the times one had been noticed.

Here is one the Black Cats’ home match against Rochdale…

Coventry away…

Peterborough at home…

And lastly, Bradford away…

After seeing so many appearances of their rival fans appearing at their matches, Sunderland supporters took to mock them and their bleak times in the Premier League – take a look at those tweets on the next page.
