A photo has been taken and uploaded to Facebook appearing to show smashed up seats caused by Coventry City during a 2-2 draw against Barnsley at Oakwell.
The culprits’ actions have been slammed by their own supporters on social media with some concerned that the Sky Blues could be handed a fine, or have that as a reason to get them voted out of the Football League.

Barnsley put themselves up 1-0 up after 10 minutes when Woodrow crossed to Thiam, played to Hedges, who sent it back to Thiam, he then played it to Mowatt who found the net.

Just over 20 minutes later, Coventry were level thanks to Mason picking out Hiwula who bring it down and smashed it into the top corner.
Shortly into the second half, Cauley Woodrow put the Tykes back ahead, slotting into the bottom corner for his 15th goal of the season.

On the 63rd minute, Mark Robins’ side again equalised, the top corner being found again, this time from Luke Thomas.

Coventry came closest to sealing all three points in stoppage time, keeper Adam Davies forced to make an vital save from Amadou Bakayoko’s header.

The result meant Barnsley went 20 games unbeaten, remain 2nd, seven points off League One leaders Luton Town and five ahead of Portsmouth in the playoffs, though Pompey have a game in hand over the Tykes.
Coventry are in 9th and continue to have their eyes on a playoff place, though are six points from that.
