Vanarama wrote on the change.org petition: “We think its time for proper football to be featured on the next FIFA, FIFA 20.
“Every year passionate non-league fans have been calling for their top division to be available on each new instalment of the FIFA series only for it to fall on deaf ears.
“Therefore Vanarama the title sponsor of The National League is running a campaign to get EA Sports to include The National League, English football’s fifth tier on FIFA 20.”
It’s been shared far and wide, leading to it currently being signed over 6,000 times as of writing this, and we certainly can see it continuing to rise quick. You can sign it by clicking HERE or on the photo below…
Former FA Chairman David Bernstein might not seem much of a gamer but he has pledged his support for the campaign.
He said: “This campaign when successful will make a real commercial difference to the financial challenges facing non-league football – in addition to putting a smile on the faces of some of the most devoted fans in the world.”
Even a mock up FIFA cover has been made up featuring Sutton United captain Jamie Collins and Havant and Waterlooville striker Alfie Rutherford…
After discovering Vanarama’s petition to get the National League on FIFA, fans took to social media to give their reaction and many an amusing comment was made – find out what they had to say on the next page.
