Time to check out the Papa John’s Trophy Quarter Final draw plus both home and away attendances for the Round of 16 played in midweek.
Teams left in the EFL Trophy discovered who they face in the next stage live at 11:45am on Thursday the 15th November with two-time EFL trophy winning manager Kenny Jackett making the draw with Simon Jordan. Jim White read out the ties.
Jackett also won the competition in 2006 with Swansea City, and again in 2019 with Portsmouth after a penalty shootout win against Sunderland in front of a record crowd of over 85,000 at Wembley Stadium.
Portsmouth sealed a place into the next stage following a 3-0 win against Stevenage, with Bolton, Lincoln, Accrington, Cheltenham and Bristol Rovers also advancing into Thursday’s draw.
Two Round of 16 ties are still to be played, with Salford hosting Port Vale and Plymouth welcoming AFC Wimbledon on Tuesday the 20th and Wednesday the 21st of December.
