Nottingham Forest hit back at West Brom dig on social media which started during the two side’s meeting which played out to a 2-2 on Saturday.

The Baggies went 1-0 up after 36 minutes with a well taken strike by Callum Robinson before Kyle Bartley scored an own goal which levelled the scoreline at the break, before Forest’ Tobias Figueiredo put through his own net to make it 2-1 to West Brom with just under half an hour to play, Matty Cash scored a dramatic equalised in the 91st minute then the Hawthorns club had a late winner controversially ruled out with the last kick of the game.

 

The result means that West Brom remain top of the Championship table, four points ahead of second placed Leeds United. Forest now sit in fifth, boosting their hopes of getting promotion to the Premier League.

After the game, both team’s Twitter accounts have been having some light-hearted banter over key moments and dodgy decisions from the referee.
