After news came last year that Jersey Bulls FC are planning to join English football, social media users have given their thoughts.
Some wished the club good luck…
Great to see @jersey_bulls Jersey’s newest football club on @Twitter . I hope they can get the community and financial support to thrive in the English football league pyramid. #grassroots #communityclub

@jersey_bulls exciting news – not just exciting for players but also supporters and coaches alike. Best way forward and I’m glad someone has done something potentially fantastic for local sport. ⚽️???

Yet another huge development in Jersey football today as @jersey_bulls look set to join the 10th tier of the English football league.
With this and @JamesScottJS‘s ‘Parishes of Jersey’ football is looking to be on a new high in Jersey.

Others however gave a mixed reaction on the plans and team name…

As long as it doesn’t interfere with the Parishes of Jersey team’s @CONIFAOfficial activities it could be good. But it also makes it look like Jersey have given up on trying to ever join UEFA.
