New season in England – Premier League table, results, favorites and outsiders

The start of the English Premier League season is accompanied by interesting matches and results. Liverpool confidently began its way to the champion title; the team got the maximum number of points in the opening matches. The Merseysiders have not won gold medals for a long time, and, given the current results and their leadership in the Premier League table, the title is getting closer. Manchester City is seriously lagging behind; it seems the club focuses on the Champions League, although it will try to successfully play in England, too.

Watford started very poorly in all respects, and Everton, Manchester United and Tottenham aren’t brilliant either. The rest of the English Premier League teams so far have been demonstrating to the fans a good level of football, giving all their best in every match. 

Also, there is a noticeable improvement in the positions of West Ham, Burnley and Crystal Palace in the Premier League table – the fight for the title is just beginning and the most interesting events await the fans in the future.

One of the outsiders of the new season is Everton, even though the Toffees greatly strengthened during the offseason. Their main goal is getting into the Champions League.
