The start of the English Premier League season is accompanied by interesting matches and results. Liverpool confidently began its way to the champion title; the team got the maximum number of points in the opening matches. The Merseysiders have not won gold medals for a long time, and, given the current results and their leadership in the Premier League table, the title is getting closer. Manchester City is seriously lagging behind; it seems the club focuses on the Champions League, although it will try to successfully play in England, too.
Watford started very poorly in all respects, and Everton, Manchester United and Tottenham aren’t brilliant either. The rest of the English Premier League teams so far have been demonstrating to the fans a good level of football, giving all their best in every match.
Also, there is a noticeable improvement in the positions of West Ham, Burnley and Crystal Palace in the Premier League table – the fight for the title is just beginning and the most interesting events await the fans in the future.
Detailed results and statistics of Everton matches on fscores
One of the outsiders of the new season is Everton, even though the Toffees greatly strengthened during the offseason. Their main goal is getting into the Champions League. However, the first matches cause negative emotions among the fans, and the team does not demonstrate any coordinated teamwork. All fights of the club can be watched on fscores – an excellent website with a nice interface and easy navigation.
The best Everton transfers in the offseason include:
1. Moise Kean – a young Italian striker came from Juventus for a fairly small amount. Kean is a very talented footballer, but in England so far he cannot reveal his full potential.
2. Alex Iwobi – the club bought the Nigerian Iwobi from Arsenal; he is able to close the position of a midfielder and performs well in the attack.
3. Djibril Sidibe – the Frenchman moved from Monaco, switching positions with Henry Oniekuru.
In addition to the aforementioned players who make up an excellent reinforcement, Andre Gomes (from Barcelona), Jean-Philippe Gbamen (Mainz) and Fabian Delph (Manchester City) were also signed. Looking through the results of the Everton fights on fscore, you can see that not one of the newcomers has yet demonstrated the expected high level of the performance.
For Everton, the start was clearly not successful, but there are still enough matches ahead to rectify the situation in the season. The Toffees are always trying to distinguish themselves on the field, so their head coach Marco Silva has something to think about to improve the situation.
