New Norwich away kit gets compared to packet of Frazzles crisps

Norwich City recently unveil their new away kit ahead of the 2019/20 season, though it has been given mixed feedback from supporters, some loving it and others not as keen.

The Canaries showed off the new strip – which features red for the first time since the 2007/08 campaign – with ‘a yellow neckline and a smart geometric yellow pattern on the sleeves’ on social media.

Take a look at it for yourself in the photo tweet below…

Twitter users started to compare it with other things that it looked like, one of those being a packet of Frazzles crisps…

…one thought it looked like McDonalds fries!

Fabrizio Taddei, Head of Pro Clubs Department at Errea, said: “Following extensive consultation with the Club, and working closely together with Norwich City staff, we have produced what is a completely revolutionary look for the Away kit. It is bold, exciting and is going to make a striking impact every time it’s worn in the Premier League. This kit uses the same technical fabric as last season, following the very positive feedback from fans, and we hope that it will be as popular as last year’s was.”

Kayleigh Coverdale, Head of Retail at the Club, said: “With the Away kit we wanted to create something modern for the fans with the use of a geometric print design on the sleeve and body, as well as using a vibrant colour that has not been used in recent years. Red is a colour that we have been asked for over the last few years so we are excited to launch this.”

It’s priced at £50 for adults and ladies, £60 for adult long sleeve, £22 for adult shorts, £12 for adult socks, £35 for youth shirt, £18 for young shorts, £9 for socks, £30 for mini shirt, £15 mini shorts and £6 mini socks.
