New 2024/25 kits from Premier League and EFL clubs – 16th July

We take a look at the latest new 2024/25 kits from Premier League and EFL clubs, getting plenty of talk online.

The 2023/24 campaign is over and done with, so now their attention can only turn to the next one, and with clubs still needing cash to boost their finances to make up for the last few seasons, now is the perfect time to release them to supporters.

There have been a number of incredibly unique shirts come out this summer with all kinds of patterns, shapes, gradients, colours and we’ve even floral designs.

Last week, we saw queues of fans line up outside Sunderland and their new club shop, while Watford pleased supporters by revealing they were selling sponsorless kits.

Over the last few weeks, weโ€™ve seen a variety of kits, some rather nice, others rather underwhelming. Take a look at the latest collection to be launched belowโ€ฆ

WREXHAM HOME

@Muguruki1: About time we ditched Macron.

>@adamsquire3786: Tidy shirt that. Now if only I could get past the checkout page on the website.

>@ShaunAhabCarr87: Actually like the collar sleeve combo!!

>@AdrianC71: A homage to the towns past with what looks like a modern take on the 1950s @Cymru shirts. Love it. #WxmAFC

>@ffsWrexham: Pretty poor kit imo, but have a feeling the others will be great and hopefully without collars ๐Ÿคž

>@Club25Football: ๐Ÿ”ดโšช๏ธ Wrexham AFC, 24/25 home kit Key features for this one; ๐Ÿ‰ Embossed dragon scales & Y Ddraig Goch ๐Ÿ•ฐ๏ธ Collar as throwback to older shirts โ›๏ธ Tribute to the 266 victims of the Gresford Colliery Disaster ahead of the 90th anniversary 60 GBP in the Wrexham online store #WxmAFC

>@TheBeardyBoyo: Love a proper collar on a shirt, pre ordered ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป

>@chelhumphreys: Very different to recent kits and I am a fan. Love that collar. The tribute to the 266 lives of the Gresford Disaster is just ๐Ÿฅน๐Ÿฅน๐Ÿฅน๐Ÿฅน

>@TweetMoreChips: The 2024/25 shirt. Enlarged collar as a throwback to earlier 70s shirts. Dragon scales embossed into the material and a dedication to the Gresford Mines Disaster.

>@GlyndwrWXM: Credit where it’s due, that kit is absolutely honking

PRESTON AWAY + GK

>@HParkz10: Know itโ€™s concerning when the goalkeeper kit is nicer than the shirt

>@woodsy8793: rikes thatโ€™s 2/2 on new season shirts that look like training kits

>@liamhoustypne: Do I have shite taste in kits cus it appears Iโ€™m the only one who actually likes it ๐Ÿคฃ

>@grogan6: You know what, itโ€™s not a template. Itโ€™s custom again, it brings in something about preston. Nice centred badge. I donโ€™t mind it.

>@davidnewy: I’ve lost the ability to shout YEELLOWSSSS in the away end… for this #pnefc

>@Jordjolly: Keeper shirts phenomenal yet again, away shirt looks like some Icelandic knock off kit ๐Ÿ˜ญ

>@ReeceNuttall_: at no point during the designing/production of these kits did someone say โ€œguys, does anyone else think this looks like utter shit?โ€ #pnefc

>@PR4PNE: The contrast between last seasonโ€™s and this seasonโ€™s kits are mad. These are shite #pnefc

BRIGHTON HOME

>@Arthur_BHA: Sponsor on that left arm is massive. Nice kit tho

>@BhaAlex_: No complaints, itโ€™s fresh and clean. Always prefer a white base on the home shirt ๐Ÿ‘Œ

>@BHAFC_George: Growing on me donโ€™t really like the sleeves tho

>@Jackalbion96: New sleeve sponsor is an affront to god

>@RealTomHoskins: A brilliant kit by Nike. Why couldnโ€™t they design a kit like this for Chelsea ๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™‚๏ธ #CFC

>@blakeyinnit: Best one for a few years I think. Looking forward to the away shirt reveal!

>@bhafcnoz: I am incredibly happy with it

>@SilsbyJamie: The day we get rid of Nike and go to Adidas, as they are the only ones that can do stripe shirts the better. Sorry it is a very big meh for me. #disappointedagain

>@glinksted: I’ll have to see it in the flesh, until then I need to reserve judgement ๐Ÿ‘

PORT VALE AWAY

WIGAN HOME

WIGAN AWAY

>@AndrewH45791326: Whatโ€™s with the block of cheese on it. Be sound just the black with dots

>@mrgarethrdavies: I like it except the sponsor. Yet again it looks like an afterthought and not integrated with the shirt, with the iron on patch

>@WAFCtabs: How do you mess up a black away kit? ๐Ÿ˜ญ

>@AdyEthelston: Not a fan of either kit this season tbh. Oh well probably end up spending some money on them anyway ๐Ÿ˜‚

>@wafcian: Not bad but think the bold yellow stripe was probably enough, roll on the 3rd kit ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป

>@C66Jez: I like it but hope we go with Adidas next season

>@WAFConTour: Some whingers support us honestly. Itโ€™s a belter, bit different but solid

>@CabezaJake: God thats horrible ๐Ÿ˜‚ best thing i can say is its .. different!

>@Slacking_dad: Do people actually get paid to design these ๐Ÿคฎ๐Ÿคฎ๐Ÿคฎ

>@watsonshead: ๐Ÿ‘Ž Sorry, I know taste is subjective. But Iโ€™m not a fan of that or the home kit. Puma have missed the mark with both kits this year imo. Neither kits are helped by the huge stick on sponsor logo which look like an afterthought.

>@Northern_Gravy: Looks better than the home kit ๐Ÿ‘

CHELSEA HOME

Mixed reaction to ‘never before seen’ bold design for Chelsea’s 2024/25 sponsorless home kit

HULL CITY HOME

@Hullensian1904: Underwhelming, hopefully the away and third shirt is decent.

@MattyHC5: Whyโ€™s the kappa and city badge so high brev

@ThatjamieT: Why is it so shiny

@BradleyDenton7: I thought kappa were meant to be a bit out there with shirt designs, 2 very safe home shirts so far

@TreLeoni: Amber is a warm, rich color that lies between yellow and orange on the color spectrum. It often evokes a sense of warmth and energy, reminiscent of the natural resin from which it gets its name. #NotAmber

@Kristoff624: Looks great but looking tight on professional athletes. Might need a size or two up this year.

@HCAFC_AH: Think itโ€™s about time we ditched Kappa

@lewismstanaway: lovely and simple, but the badges are too high and the stripes make all the lads look fat

@hcafcalex: I love it

@BigInTheRing: Actually looks very nice that

NOTTINGHAM FOREST HOME

@ohmistrolling: Bespoke design. Different colour and material on the collar and side panels. Acknowledging the history of the club. Brilliant colour. Best shirt in years. Glad to see Adidas have put some effort in this year #NFFC

@sjdtwit: Do I like that, not too flash, not too blandโ€ฆ just right ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘ #NFFC

@RedGadjo: Nice but not blown away , wait for the away and third to see how they look @nffc @forestfocuspod

@VimFuego87: Love it @adidasfootball absolutely smashing it for @NFFC this year #NFFC #History #Heritage #Legendary

@YouBloodyReds: Lovely simplistic kit ๐ŸŒณ New chapter sounds good. Big summer for lessons to have been learned and moving forwards in all departments. ๐Ÿคž Big season to consolidate ourselves in the Prem.

@dancaw23: Not too bad. Sponsor ruins it as always.

@davo261088: That is really bloody lovely. Nicest shirt we’ve had from Adidas by some distance I think.

BRISTOL ROVERS AWAY

@cazjmay: I LOVE IT!!! And the girls being involved is amazing!! Great work everyone!! ๐Ÿ’š

@McDavyFace: I want to like it is the best I can say. Hope we’ll have a 3rd kit.

@Hibbsy37: Good job. I usually like the new kits that reference the old classics. This works well. Well done team #utg

@Gas_Eloise: This might be my favourite Rovers shirt ever. Itโ€™s so fucking beautiful ๐Ÿ˜

@CallMeGlover: Hmm.. donโ€™t know what to think just yet ๐Ÿค” i think i like it ๐Ÿ˜…

@owen_cutz29: That is absolutely unreal! ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜

@Texy78Butler: Pretty good and if weโ€™re not yellow for our away kit then Green & Black is the next best option!

@SimonDGould: Superb nod to 1995!

@BRFCSamuel: Oh that is stunning

@TommyCGas: nice shirt but why is it square black checks bar that one rectangle block low left of the badge

COVENTRY HOME + GK

@ccfc_07: OHHHH YESSSS ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜

@tomlw93: Finally, a nice home shirt. Best since 19/20 #pusb

@kevwpalmer: Canโ€™t beat a full sky blue. Promotion quality home shirt ๐Ÿ‘Œ

@AmyandAdamsDad: A True thing of beauty. Made out of a special fabric developed by @hummelUK. It’s name? PREMIERSHIP MATERIAL! #PUSB

@wozey: Oh thatโ€™s nice, was worried it had that white stipe ๐Ÿ˜‚ thankfully only the projector

@PaulA_NFT: Quite impressed. Love to see something unique to cov included

@ThatBoroFan: Credit where creditโ€™s due, Hummel have absolutely smashed it out of the park this year

@sophrichardsxxx: Alright alright take my money, glad the sponsor is in white font ๐Ÿ˜ #PUSB

@TomUpto94934917: OH MY ITS ACTUALLY A BEAUTY, I absolutely love it, think I prefer it to last seasons home kit already and the goalkeeper kit is a stunner as well, 100% buying it ๐Ÿ˜ #PUSB

@realvicminett: Thoughts? I love it personally! Hate saggy necks and love a bit of simplicity. And all Sky Blue! #PUSB PS also chuffed to see green for the keepers.

@ZakBaldwin: I don’t feel like a subtle hologram pattern is enough to justify an otherwise completely plain shirt. After the brilliance of the last few years this is disappointing from Hummel.

NORTHAMPTON HOME

@NTFCNathan: Bring back Hummel ๐Ÿ˜ญ

@WazzaMayes: Love it! Especially like the collar and sleeve detailing! โค๏ธ๐Ÿ˜

Russell Ellis: Nice. All you can say about it really!

@Club25Football: ๐Ÿ”ดโšช๏ธ Northampton Town 24/25 home kit. The Cobblers are a Puma team, and thus get the ubiquitous Puma template for this year; a plain body with detailing on the collar and cuffs. Contrasting side panels might have made this stand out more. Meh. #ntfc #ShoeArmy

Simon Ingram-Hawkes: Now thatโ€™s a proper club badge. โค๏ธ

Stephen Robinson: Just how it should be with plenty of claret.

Jenny Parker: Very smart ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘

Iain Bonnar: Bring back Hummel

Jason Rodhouse: A lot of positive comments so far, but I am not keen. Worst home shirt for a good few years, but we have had some good ones recently. What’s with the collar and ends to the sleeves? It could have been a reasonable (albeit boring) shirt had these not been a mess. Hope they sell lots of course, but not for me.
