After looking at the new club crest and finding out on the new colours, fans took to give their thoughts on social media…
Very nice??

I liked it anyway but it's growing on me even more now

Let's hope in 3 weeks time we are also celebrating the full reserved matters application being approved after twelve years outside of Gloucester ?@nigelhanman @CllrSaid @AndrewGravells @MayorGloucester

Like it. Classy look & I love the return to tradition with the City heraldic shield. Also next season’s return to red. Don’t think it distracts from the survival fight. If anything should give us a bit of a lift.

Really like that a lot

The tweets continued to come in, mostly good but there were a few who weren’t keen…
The badge is too cluttered. Anyway, the thought of supporting a football club wearing red makes me feel sick. This is not Gloucester City in 2019.
Yellow and black made us unique and notable in the area. This doesn't give us an identity, this makes us blend in with the crowd.

It’s still Gloucester City AFC tho Isn’t it ffs. No matter what colours or badge we play in, we’re still follow the club all over the country every Saturday. See you in Truro ?

Congratulations Chris. Colours go really well together. Bold and classy.

Not keen on the badge tbh, too fussy & old fashioned imho.
