The National League outright title winner, promotion, top seven odds have been revealed for the 2024/25 season now that fixtures are out.
Preparations for the division’s 24 teams are now underway with pre-season friendlies in full swing, new shirts being revealed and fresh signings being brought in.
Forest Green Rovers and Sutton United drop into non league having been relegated from League Two, while they will also face National League North promoted sides Tamworth and Boston United and National League South champions Yeovil Town and playoff winners Braintree Town.
The 2024/25 National League season, known as the Vanarama National League for sponsorship reasons, will be the tenth season under English football’s new title of the National League, having previously been Skrill, Blue Square Bet, Nationwide, GM Vauxhall and Gola, while it’s also the 22nd season consisting of three divisions, and the 46th season overall.
The 2022/23 season saw the expansion of North and South divisions to 24 teams apiece, a planned increase which was originally scheduled in 2019. However, after the curtailment and voidance of the 2020–21 season for both North and South, promotion and relegation were postponed. For those reasons, the implementation of expansion plans was delayed until 2022–23.
The 2017/18 season was the first season to include six teams in the play-offs for each division, with the 4th-7th placed teams participating in the qualifying round and the 2nd and 3rd placed teams qualifying for the semi-finals.
Right then, time to take a look at the National League outright title winner, promotion, top seven odds, now that it’s revealed for the 2024/25 season…

Clive Greatley: Come on Sutton United! We’ve won it once.. we can win it again 😀⚽️🏄🏾♂️🏆😀⚽️🏄🏾♂️🏆
Lee Sheppard: Some good sides in there dark horse to me is Yeovil . But teams such as Rochdale , Oldham and hartlepool, Southend to me one of them I can see topping division
Donn Jones: Go Tamworth Looking forward to seeing some ex-league sides at the Lamb next season
Karl Smullen: Good to see Tamworth in there 👍or TAMUFF as the dingles say 🤣
Vitor Haralambus: Good to see Tamworth up and Yeovil back up again, they have had a rough few years
Michael Shipley: Very poor non league now alot of big clubs what fell into there have all gone now
John Woodfield: No nailed on favourite this year. Last year Chesterfield had it won by Christmas . Will be very competitive
Andy Sargent: This league and the amount of efl clubs who played in leagues 1 and 2 is heavy
Rob J Hoult: Oldham or Barnet. That’s unless they both bottle it again of course 😂
Mark Swatridge: Yeovil are back 💪 Will settle for a play off place, think Barnet will be strong
Chris Willin: Hope FGR get absolutely smashed by everyone 🤞🤞🤞
Colin Chedotal: Come On Oldham.. Get back up there..
Trevor Howis: Anybodys that
Gary P Nffc: That looks wide open
Russell Edd Smith: It will be a close season this time… Southend and Yeovil my tips
Nick Copland: Come on York
Alastair Dearnley: My money is on Sarfend , I do hope my team York city can put a run together & maybe finish in the top half of the table.
Peter Symonds: Aldershot to go 1 better and get into the play offs
Roland Griffiths: Unfair league, only 2 get promoted but 4 get relegated.
