MK Dons reveal three new proposed crest designs for supporters to vote on in a planned identity change from the 2025/26 season.
The MK Dons CEO Neil Hart, who took over the club in September 2024, talks with Sky Sports News about the thinking behind reducing ticket prices and encouraging fans to vote on changing the club’s logo.
There has been a lot of debate from fans on social media over getting rid of ‘Dons’ from their name, something that also could be voted on.
“We want to work with the fans, we want to listen, and we want to deliver action off the back of that” 🤝

CLUB STATEMENT:
Be part of the next chapter of Milton Keynes Dons’ history.
After 20 years of football in Milton Keynes, MK Dons are pleased to reveal three new crest designs for supporter consultation as we look to evolve our club identity ahead of the 25/26 season.
Following initial consultation with the MK Dons Supporters’ Board, it became apparent there was a clear desire for an evolution of the club’s identity, from the crest on our kits to the branding around Stadium MK and branding across all digital platforms.
After extensive work behind the scenes, we’re now delighted to be able to offer all season ticket holders (including Club Red, Club Gold, Club Platinum, and Club Black hospitality seasonal members) and business stakeholders the chance to have your say in helping to choose our new club crest.
Supporters have until midnight on Thursday 20th February to vote, all season ticket holders have already been sent an email detailing the process. Check your inbox for an email with the subject Your Club, Your Crest. | Vote Now. If you’re a season ticket holder and you haven’t received an email, please contact our box office team on boxoffice@mkdons.com.

On the evolution of the club’s identity, Group CEO Neil Hart said:
“When the new ownership group acquired the club last summer, one of the many things we wanted to learn more about was the club’s identity and branding. This started with informal conversations among staff before the possibility of a brand evolution was brought to the MK Dons Supporters’ Board last month. Their reaction was one of unanimous enthusiasm, as we look to celebrate the past 20 years of football in Milton Keynes while also paving the way for a new era at the football club – this feels like an important milestone in the club’s history and an opportunity for us all to review our brand identity. As we continue to be focused on improving every aspect of our football club we want our supporters to be at the heart of any important decision-making affecting the club. So, take your time, review the designs and let us have your feedback. We can assure supporters we will only evolve the club’s brand and identity with the full support of our loyal fan base and key partners”.
Season ticket holders now have the opportunity to vote on their preferred design. We urge all eligible supporters to vote and participate in the process. It’s the hope of everyone at Stadium MK that we enter the 25/26 season with a club crest we are all proud of and that reflects our shared ambitions for the future of Milton Keynes Dons.
Supporters have until midnight on Thursday 20th February to vote and provide your views, all season ticket holders (including Club Red, Club Gold, Club Platinum, and Club Black) have already been sent an email detailing the process.

Social media users gave their thoughts as MK Dons reveal three new proposed crest designs for supporters to vote on in an identity change…
@brumforward: Pick the middle one lads. Nearly every club that changes its badge goes for a round design and they look the same.
@Cyandium99: Who gets the deciding vote if all 3 of their fans pick a different badge design?
@Andy__SAFC: Drop the stolen “Dons” name and be something that is actually about MK
@jordandavies09: Review the ‘Dons’ part perhaps
@prendall68: Just a franchise club with no soul or fan base waste of such a large ground. Could play down the local park and get more fans
@Class1Mod: Drop the Dons name would be a start. You aint Wimbledon, never have been and never will
@alexstorey1050: I liked Neil hart from the start. As someone who’s supported the club for almost 2 decades, I want to see proper good change in the club, I’d go for 1, dump castore, and remove ‘dons’ and go forward as Milton Keynes Football Club.
@ollielad24: I still ain’t had no email so I’m clearly not allowed my say 😳😡 I say it on here keep the badge 1 million per cent
@cornerdon26: I’m sorry but this wasn’t working with the fans. No consultation about design, no fan influence. This fans being lumped with 3 shit designs, some season ticket holders receiving email links to vote and then @MKDonsFC deleting negative replies.
@alfiemkd: I really like the mindset from Neil. Still not sold on the logos at all but it’s just a badge I guess.
@DonnieAndMooie: 70% have voted in favour of a change?! You lunatics.
