Millwall and Hartlepool player films himself ‘inhaling hippy crack’ while DRIVING vehicle

Millwall and Hartlepool player Tyler Burey films himself ‘inhaling hippy crack’ while DRIVING a vehicle with fans taking to slam him online.

Tyler Burey, who is currently on loan to the League Two outfit, recorded footage and put it on Snapchat whilst driving a car on a main road.

It showed him with two friends in a car inhaling the laughing gas through a balloon with music played in the background, and to make it worse, he was doing this while videoing himself at the same time as driving a car.

20 year old Burey removed the clip 10 minutes later with the Championship club launching an investigation into the matter immediately.

Nitrous oxide – which is a colourless gas that is commonly used for sedation and pain relief but also used by people to feel intoxicated or high – is set to become illegal as the government cracks down on drug use.

It has been the drug of choice for some footballers as it doesn’t come up on tests with the likes of Alexandre Lacazette, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Jack Grealish caught taking it.

The former AFC Wimbledon attacker has been out of action for a few months following a severe hamstring injury back in September after scoring three times in seven appearances.

Burey posted on Instagram: “Gutted to of picked up a injury with my start at Hartlepool hard to process my feelings into words but it’s just a part of the game you can’t control the comeback is on & I will be back stronger.”

The injury saw Burey return to Millwall to regain his full fitness.

However Millwall manager Gary Rowett revealed he could be back at Hartlepool as soon as next week after starting for the South East London outfit’s under 23s at the weekend.

He made his Pools debut as a late substitute in a 1–0 victory against Crawley Town and assisted the winner for Gavan Holohan.

On the 14th of August 2021, Burey scored his first professional goal in a 3–2 defeat to Barrow and then 7 days later, he added his 2nd goal for the club against Walsall – beating his man and driving into the box, before curling an effort high into the far corner

On the 28th of August 2021, Burey netted his third senior goal in a 2-1 win over rivals Carlisle United, receiving the ball from Will Goodwin on the edge of the box and curling an unstoppable effort into the top corner. This was Burey’s 3rd goal for the club in 4 games.

Seems like he’s certainly enjoying the high life a bit too much these days.

Rowett said: “He has trained well for the best part of last week and we want him to train this week and play a part in a game on Friday for our U23s against Cardiff.”

“If he gets through 45 minutes well then we’ll send him back to Hartlepool in the hope he can go and impact their season.

“He’s been out a long time and it was a serious injury. We don’t want to just send him back for two or three days and be irresponsible.

“We want to give him part of a game and be a little more confident that he’s fit.”

Burey’s original deal is set to expire in January 2022 with a renegotiation expected imminently.

The midfielder posted the video on social media platform Snapchat.
