Mike Ashley is already planning to buy an EFL club once the Saudi’s takeover of Newcastle United is complete, according to reports.
A Premier League return for the controversial owner is being described as ‘unlikely’, however one source has said his dismal time with the Magpies hasn’t put him off from football completely.

Once the cash is on the table, Ashley is ready to end his 13-year tenure on Tyneside and look elsewhere.
It stated that he’d “love” to invest in a EFL club with a ‘sound fanbase and potential to grow’. We’ll let you draw up a list of that one.
He is also planning to point to the fact that he will leave Newcastle debt-free.
