A group of furious Manchester United fans throw flares at Ed Woodward’s house as their protests against chief executive turns nasty.
It’s reported that 20 supporters in balaclava – some of whom are believed to be members of the Premier League side’s notorious “Men In Black” hooligan firm – targeted the £2million mansion at 8pm.

The gang came together outside the home of Woodward and rang an intercom on large gates at the entrance to the property on Tuesday night.
Allegedly no-one answered, so the group decided to spray red paint over it and also launch smoke bombs as well as flares and fireworks.
It is understood the 48-year-old, who is married with two young children, was not present at the time.
A source told The Sun: “Woodward has been a disaster as chief executive and needs to leave the club.
“Lots of people have said it but he doesn’t seem to listen – perhaps because he’s getting paid £4m-a-year.
“So we decided to pay him a visit to tell him to his face. We didn’t get to speak to him but hopefully he’ll get the message because we’re not going away and we won’t stand around doing nothing while our club is ruined.”

Writer Richard Moriarty said: “This act is condemning and only makes the argument for United’s fan all the worse while defending the leadership even more.
“If United fans are genuinely fed up of the leadership, peaceful protesting and boycotting is easily the much better option and physical violence should never be condoned.
“Hopefully this is the last we see of it regarding the United-Woodward feud.”
It comes just days after Man Utd fans chanted “Ed Woodward’s going to die!” during a recent home match.
Social media users gave their reaction after seeing Manchester United fans throw flares at Ed Woodward’s house…
I want Woodward out just as much as the next United fan but this is way too far man.

Talk is cheap, actions are the only way forward

Embarrassing, especially the timing of it

Way too far

This is too far tbh. He's got a family.

Whatever your opinion is of Ed Woodward, this is absolutely disgusting.
Anyone supporting or justifying this needs to find another club to support, we're better than this ?? #MUFC pic.twitter.com/ci8tYJYhep

I might hate Ed, but this is not football. This is just criminal activity. Find them, lock them up.
— Marc Ripley (@Ripley1979) January 28, 2020
We all want him to go but targeting his house and family is not the way to go! Bunch of thugs and not true Manchester United fans just criminals!
— Liam Doherty (@liamdoc2013) January 28, 2020
Scumbags. Football in itself is not an excuse to do that to a mans house especially after the success you’ve had during their time at United. You United fans have it easy.
— Arun (@ArunJanaka) January 28, 2020
I think the chant is enough. He probably got kids in the house. This is a no for me
— Man. (@macdot__paul) January 28, 2020
Don't agree with this at all. The man has a wife and young kids. Leave the protest to Old Trafford or any game but this is going to far and is a cowardly bullying tactic that embarrasses our entire fan base.
