Man United fans reportedly fight among themselves before Como humiliation

Footage reportedly showing Man United fans fighting among themselves in Como emerged before kick-off on Wednesday. The day only got worse for the travelling support as their team suffered an embarrassing 4–1 defeat.

Hooligans.cz described the incident as United supporters clashing with one another before the Champions League fixture on 21 October. Its post appeared at 2:27pm UK time, more than three hours before the match began.

Videos later circulated showing a confrontation inside a crowded bar. Men can be seen grappling and swinging punches as others try to intervene.

The green walls and distinctive patterned floor visible in the clips also feature in the photograph shared that afternoon. The source’s description identifies those involved as United fans; their identities and what started the confrontation have not been independently established.

A later post by Charlie shared the footage alongside a joke about United taking the defeat badly. However, the earlier afternoon post places the reported incident before the game, rather than as a reaction to the result.

United’s day gets worse on the pitch

There was little relief for United’s travelling support once the football started. Cesc Fàbregas’ Como outplayed Michael Carrick’s side, building a four-goal lead before Joshua Zirkzee struck a stoppage-time consolation.

Nico Paz scored twice, with Tasos Douvikas and Jacobo Ramón also on target. The 4–1 loss left United without a win in seven matches across all competitions, according to Sky Sports’ match report.

For supporters who had made the trip to Italy, it was another bruising evening watching a team struggling to turn its results around.

Fernandes reacts after the defeat

United captain Bruno Fernandes faced the cameras afterwards. In TNT Sports’ original interview, he said: “I think sometimes we have to be more brave under pressure.”

The interview was among the clips attracting reaction after the final whistle, with United’s performance and response to the defeat coming under scrutiny.
