A 42-year-old man has been charged with burglary after Wrexham AFC shirts were allegedly stolen from the club’s retail trailer.
Stephen Roberts, of Grosvenor Road, Wrexham, appeared before Mold Magistrates’ Court on Thursday 29 October and was granted bail with conditions. His next appearance at the court is scheduled for 30 March 2027, the Leader reported.
Charge follows incident at the club’s retail trailer
The burglary charge relates to an incident in the early hours of Wednesday 28 October. North Wales Police said “a number of Wrexham AFC shirts were stolen during the incident”, according to the Leader’s account.
Separate shop-theft and bail charges
Roberts also faces a separate shop-theft charge relating to a reported incident at Bargain Buys on Regent Street on 10 October. He is additionally charged with breaching a bail condition on 28 October.
Those charges are separate from the alleged burglary at Wrexham AFC’s retail trailer. The court granted bail with conditions at the 29 October hearing ahead of the next scheduled appearance.
Adult Wrexham home shirts retail at £65
Wrexham’s official online store lists the adult 2026/27 Macron home shirt at £65. Personalisation is available as an optional extra, charged on top of the base shirt price.
JD Sports also lists the men’s Wrexham 2026/27 home shirt at £65, matching the club shop’s advertised price for the adult current-season shirt.
