Lynsey Hipgrave admits she ‘should not have said’ the comment that ‘came out wrong’ while she was presenting live on TV.
TNT Sports presenter Lynsey Hipgrave found herself in an amusingly awkward situation during a live TV broadcast for Newcastle’s win at home to West Ham.
Initially, Newcastle took an early lead, but then found themselves trailing 3-1 to West Ham. But they staged a remarkable comeback and secured all three points with Alexander Isak, who scored the first goal of the game, managing to pull one back from the penalty spot by converting his second penalty of the match.
In the second half, substitute Harvey Barnes equalised before unleashing a sensational long-range strike to make it 4-3.
She talked about the incredible comeback from the Magpies but ended the broadcast in stitches of laughter with Joe Cole and Owen Hargreaves also amused.
Hipgrave made a comment that she later admitted she shouldn’t have said. She jokingly referred to being on her back while celebrating the win with her Dad.
After realising what she had just said, Hipgrave hysterically added: “It came out wrong!”
Joe Cole replied: “I’m not saying nothing,” while Owen Hargreaves couldn’t contain himself and started laughing.

In February, Peter Crouch was hilariously asked if ‘size matters’ live on air, with Joe Cole responding in epic fashion.
It came as they were getting set for Brentford v Liverpool in the early kick-off on TNT Sports with Crouch and Cole joined Lynsey Hipgrave for the Premier League fixture at the Gtech Community Stadium.
And when discussing Liverpool’s forward options, Hipgrave asked Crouch if ‘size matters’ in a hilarious moment during the broadcast.
Crouch replied: “Oh, Lyns… what a question.” Cole added: “You’ll have to ask the Mrs!”
Realising what she asked Joe Cole, Hipgrave stepped away from the podium before being left in hysterics.
Crouch then proposed the question to Cole, asking if it matters on a football field.
This came after Liverpool revealed their starting lineup for the game against Brentford, which showed Jurgen Klopp keeping with Darwin Nunez up front alongside Luiz Diaz and Diogo Jota, with Mohamed Salah returning to the squad having been involved at the Africa Cup of Nations.
