Shaw has has impressed during United’s Premier League fixtures so far this season, and the same could be said for last night.
There were rave reviews after he ran down the left hand side and laid on a wonderful assist for Marcus Rashford.
However, early into the second half, Shaw collided with Dani Carvajal before falling backwards and bouncing his head off the ground. The defender laid motionless on the ground for 10 minutes and wore an oxygen mask before being stretchered off the pitch.

England manager, Gareth Southgate seemed spoke about Shaw’s condition after the game.
“He’s sat up in the dressing room talking and seems fairly comfortable,” said Southgate.
“We’ll have to assess him a little bit more overnight but that’s definitely a good sign.”
The defender remains a doubt for England’s friendly against Switzerland on Tuesday.
“We’ll go through some tests. We won’t take any chances with his health,” added Southgate.
“But the good news is he is awake and talking and seems comfortable.”
