Roma centre-back Roger Ibanez has reportedly emerged as a transfer target for the Premier League champions Liverpool.
The 22-year-old defender, who plays for Serie A club Roma, on loan from Atalanta BC but will join the Italian club on a permanent deal if certain conditions are met.

According to ASRomaLive, the Reds have been informed that Atalanta would be open to selling Ibanez for a fee somewhere in the region of £36m.
The Brazil Under-21 international has been an important player for Giallorossi during the 2020-21 campaign, already chalking up 14 appearances in all competitions, including 12 outings in the Italian top flight.
The report goes on to claim that Tottenham and Leicester are also keeping a close eye on the centre-back’s developments.
The Merseyside giants have identified the Brazilian as a potential signing, as Jurgen Klopp look to bring in cover for the injured Virgil van Dijk and Joe Gomez.
