Liverpool fan Jude, 16, was treated to a special day out with some familiar faces after having 70 weeks of chemotherapy treatment.

The young lad was treated to a memorable day out by Murwalls and the Owen McVeigh Foundation, highlight of it was a special tour of Anfield’s iconic murals, featuring personal appearances and video messages from Liverpool legends like Jürgen Klopp, Jamie Carragher, Steven Gerrard, Robbie Fowler, Ian Rush, Jordan Henderson, and Jan Mølby.

Jude met former players such as Nigel Spackman, Chris Kirkland, and Sammy Lee, who joined him for pizza.

The day was filled with surprises, signed memorabilia, and heartfelt messages, celebrating Jude’s resilience and love for Liverpool FC.

SPECIAL MESSAGES TO JUDE:

Klopp: Hey Jude! I think you heard that once or twice before. It’s a pleasure to meet you, my friend. Unfortunately, not in person today. I heard about you and I heard about your day today and I think it’s a pretty special one. 100 % sure, in front of which mural you’re standing right now, it’s probably one of me. When I left, there were a few of them. I don’t know if they are meanwhile over-painted. It would be okay. All these wonderful memories of mine, they are because of people like you. People who love this club so much, people who make this club so special. And that’s the part I miss, to be honest. This togetherness. I want to say thank you to you. From the bottom of my heart, I wish you all the best. Have a great day.

Fowler: Jude how you doing mate, Robbie Fowler here, I know you’re doing the tour or you’re about to do the tour and visited all the murals around Anfield and look you’ve seen the murals you’ve seen Murwalls you’ve seen Virgil’s but let’s be honest with you mine is the best you know it is so sorry I can’t be there with you again I want to come and meet you mate hopefully we’ll get to see each other again pretty soon

Mølby: Hi Jude, I hope you’re having a great day around Anfield looking at all the murals. All your favourite players are Virgil van Dijk and Mo Salah. So you’re wondering, who am I? Well have a look on the wall, that’s my mural, Jan Mulvey. It’s the first European to come and play for Liverpool back in 1984. I think it’s a great honour. I hope you enjoy your tour. You’re doing it all in aid, have a good cause. Have a great day.

Henderson: Hi Jude, it’s Jordan Henderson. Just wanted to send you a quick message mate, as I know you’re walking around looking at all the murals today. I know you’re going to my mural, I don’t know if you’re there now. I hope it’s still there. I hope you’re good, I hope you have a fantastic day, hopefully see you soon.

Rush: Hello Jude, it’s Ian Rush here. I’ve been told that you’re a big Liverpool fan and it’s fans like you that make our club so special. Don’t enjoy your tour, have a great day, hope to see you soon and never walk alone.

Gerrard: Hello Jude, Stephen Gerrard here. Hope you’re doing well. I believe you are in the Anfield area enjoying all the artwork, all the wonderful murals. I hope you’re having a special day. I wanted to take this opportunity to send you some love and support. You’re a very special young man. Keep being brave, keep being strong mates and we’re all with you. We all love you, we’re all behind you.
