List of latest promotions and relegations in non league – 1st April 2024

We take a look at the latest list of promotions and relegations in non league football with the 2023/24 season nearing an end.

Prior to the latest batch of games, the following had already happened:

– Chesterfield (champions of the National League)

– Oxford City (relegated from the National League)

– Bishop’s Stortford (relegated form the National League North)

– Hartpury University (champions of Hellenic League 1)

– FC Baresi (champions of the Essex Alliance)

– Middleton (promoted from the Yorkshire Amateur League)

– Farnham Town (champions of the Combined Counties League Premier Division South)

– Allexton & New Parks are LSL champions, while Anstey Town and Loughborough Students Development have won division 1 and 2 respectively.

– Sherwood Colliery (are UCL North Champions)

PROMOTIONS / PLAYOFFS / RELEGATIONS (Bank Holiday Weekend, according to users on Non League Matters)

– Dover’s inevitable relegation from National League South confirmed with defeat at Welling.

– FC St Helens are champions of NWCL North and promoted with a 3-2 win over Runcorn Town on Good Friday.

– Needham Market – 3SPC guaranteed play-off place

– Chelmsford City – 2NLS guaranteed play-off place

– Didcot Town relegated (from the Southern League – Premier South)

– Berkhamsted relegated from SLPC

– Lowestoft – ILN play offs

– Harborough Town – NPM play offs

– Rayners Lane/Flackwell Heath – CCN play offs

– Emley – NEP Champions

– Also, Campion and Garforth Town guaranteed play-offs for NEP

– Milton Keynes Irish have re-booked their SMP play-off spot after St Panteleimon’s expunged results meant they needed points again!

– AFC Portchester guaranteed WXP play-off

– Bourne Town now UC1 Champions and promoted

Hamworthy Recreation guaranteed WX1 play-off

– Brandon United now confirmed in a NL2 relegation position though could be reprieved.

– Stockport Town failing to win at Cheadle Heath Nomads mean Brocton win promotion from the NWC1S

– Brocton needed a point to mathematically win the title and duly beat Stafford Town 3-1 to seal promotion.

– Mildenhall Town are promoted from the Eastern Counties after their 1-0 win over Lakenheath this afternoon.

– After winning their match today, Wellingborough Town have won promotion from UCL Prem South and both March Town United and St Neots Town have confirmed their play-off places.

– Chesham United won 4-1 at Harrow to clinch SLPS title and promotion.

– Leek Town champions of NPW and promoted.

– Skelmersdale’s defeat to Burscough means they finish bottom of NWCLP, and are relegated.

– Two sides could be provisionally relegated from the Isthmian Premier this Saturday – Kingstonian unless they win at home to Margate and Cheshunt lose at home to Lewes – And Haringey if there result at home to Billericay is bettered by Cheshunt

– In the Isthmian North on Saturday Stowmarket will be provisionally relegated if they lose at home to Walthamstow and Enfield somehow avoid defeat away to Bowers

– After Hornchurch’s last minute postponement at Canvey then Chatham eventually seeing off Kingstonian it means the showdown of the top two this Saturday could decide it with Hornchurch only needing a draw to finally make sure of the title

– 1874 Northwich relegated from NPL West after today’s 0-3 away defeat at Witton Albion.

– Amersham Town (ComCoFL Division One)
