Lincoln fans raise money for charity after taking inflatable penises to Notts County game

Lincoln City have raised a huge amount of money after they took inflatable penises to their away game at Notts County on Saturday.

They brought them over to Meadow Lane and waved them in the stands after Magpies chairman Alan Hardy accidentally posted a photo of his penis.

He was ‘trying to make a point of how fickle football fans can be these days’ and posted two screenshots of tweets he received from from the same County fan – one of those wishing him a Merry Christmas and the other claimed he was ruining the club.

But when putting up the photos, he failed to notice what was on his camera roll…

After that, he announced that he was to sell the club and stated that the social media posts and mocking was nothing to do with his decision.

You think it would have ended there and then. Oh no. The story then gave the travelling Lincoln fans an excuse to poke fun it in their side’s top v bottom clash.

As well as making fun of Hardy, the Imps fans put a great spin on it by raising money for a Prostate Cancer charity through buying an inflatable, so far raising over £1,300.

There is still time to head to the JustGiving page to donate something, just click HERE or on the photo below…
