Leeds United troll Niall Horan in bizarre Twitter ‘spat’

Leeds United have trolled singer Niall Horan in what was a bizarre Twitter ‘spat’ last night.

It came after the Whites defeated bottom of the Championship Ipswich 2-0, the club’s Twitter account called out on the singer for an earlier comment.

It all started when Niall tweeted that Derby County were “a dream to watch play”.

@CrossyTweets replied to it, asking him, “Will you send @LUFC A bit of luck”, but Niall wrote: “no one likes Leeds”.

The tweet caught the eyes of the Yorkshire team, and they hit back with “No one likes your solo career #BringBack1D”.

The former One Direction star’s solo career has got off to a great start, his debut album ‘Flicker’ charted at number one in five countries.

It’s not the first time Niall has made a cheeky dig towards Leeds. Earlier this month on Alan Brazil’s Breakfast Show, and when explaining why his family support Derby, Horan against joked “Nobody likes Leeds”.

After 14 matches played, Bielsa’s side are leading the Championship, however just six points separate 1st and 13th place. Horan’s Derby County sit fifth.

 

The hilarious comeback sparked plenty of reaction from Twitter users including both the club and singer’s fans. Of course Leeds fans were in hysterics of what they were seeing unfold, however some came ind defence for Niall – check out those tweets on the next page.
