Leeds player responds to fan who tells him ‘snap Patrick Bamford in training’

laws17: @waiguo17 exactly the sort of comment that’s going to help the team. Unbelievable. Players do read what’s written about them you know, as Kalvin and Helder have proved here. We’re 2nd in the table, playing well, and Bamford has contributed towards that. It’s a long season that we’re only a couple of months in to, of course there will be changes at some point.

waiguo17: I have watched nearly every game. It is Bamford’s job to score goals. He isn’t doing that. His chance conversion rate is abysmal. He misses several good chances every game. Nketiah has more goals than him, every 77 minutes, compared to Bamford every 250, in much less game time. I’m not saying it’s all Bamford’s fault, there are many factors at play. I would say, with a clinical striker, we would undoubtedly be several points clear in 1st position. We have one sitting on the bench in @eddienketiah! Bielsa is not beyond questioning, his inability to change something when it clearly isn’t working is costing us points, and may well end up costing him Eddie. @kalvinphillips

He may not be putting the chances away every striker has times like these but wait till he start banging them in again. phillipwilford: @laws17 it’s good they do read the comments, I agree with @waiguo17 the chances he has missed is unbelievable. His first and foremost job is to score goals. Everyone@can see his confidence is so low. Eddie needs a prolonged run in the team more than a single game. It’s not just his fault we can all see that but he’s missing more than a fair share of chances

laws17: @phillipwilford I don’t disagree that Eddie deserves his chance, but saying that Kalvin should snap Bamford is a bit extreme. There’s constructive criticism, and then there’s comments like that
