Leeds United fans were left furious after photos of Fulham’s Aleksandar Mitrovic strangling Ben White went viral on Saturday night.
The heated moment came in what has been described as a fiery and relatively ill-tempered Championship encounter which saw the Cottagers come out 2-1 winners.

Many supporters were left shocked at how he wasn’t given a red card for the incident, however he did get a yellow in the 89th minute when he squared up with Kalvin Phillips.

The game had it’s first controversial decision in the 7th minute when Ezgjan Alioski were judged to have handballed on the cross in from Aleksander Mitrovic.
Fulham and the Championship top scorer made sure the ball hit the back of the net from his spot kick, but the referee’s quick call for it to be a penalty has still left Leeds reeling…

Between the 25th minute and half time, the game saw Liam Cooper, Harrison Reed, Helder Costa and Joe Bryan given a yellow, meaning they had to be very careful when playing in the second half.
Leeds managed to get level after the break when Patrick Bamford scored tap-in when substitute Eddie Nketiah’s had his strike rebounded.
Josh Onomah dashed Leeds’ hope of getting a winner when he first goal of the season after the ball fell to him from an incoming corner.
The result means Fulham move up the 3rd in the Championship table, nine points behind Marcelo Bielsa’s in second-placed.
