The latest Scottish Premiership TV selections have been revealed for the upcoming two months which are September and October.
Sky Sports will be the only broadcaster to offer live coverage of the top tier of Scottish football, with up to 48 games available.
10 fixtures have been played out so far, with the most common scoreline being 1-0. Two other games were scheduled to coverage, however they were postponed due to squad members at Aberdeen and Celtic getting coronavirus.
As we know already, Eilidh Barbour has been presenting the coverage, replacing Hayley McQueen on BT Sport as she initially brought in to cover Hayley during her maternity leave, though has impressed so much that she’s got the job permanently.
The refreshed lineup for the Sky Sports Scottish Premier team includes analyst Kris Boyd, James McFadden, former Rangers, St Johnstone and Kilmarnock striker Ally McCoist, former Scotland and Man Utd midfielder Darren Fletcher, and former Celtic striker John Hartson.
Fletcher is being described by fans as a bizarre inclusion to the Sky Sports Scottish pundit team, considering Darren played his whole career in England.
The commentary box will be the much experienced Ian Crocker along with former footballer Andy Walker, who was once criticised by Celtic captain Scott Brown, labelling him a “poor man’s Gary Neville” in May 2016.
Don’t forget, Sky Sports are showing every Saturday goal first on Sky Sports News at 6pm each weekend.

Fans gave their reaction on social media after the latest Scottish Premiership TV selections were announced…
The last ever Old Firm derby was in 2012. That Rangers are currently being liquidated.

St Johnstone

Scotland wouldn’t have any tv income at all apart from bbc Alba if it wasn’t for the old firm.

Viewing figures tells the tv channels all they need to know about which games to pick. I’m not saying it’s fair but literally no one wants to see Dundee Utd against St Mirren etc (no offence) and advertising during those games doesn’t sell well.

I’m glad. 16:30 on a Sunday is brutal. Hated it.

— Super sleuth (@supersleuth4) August 25, 2020
Disappointed you have chosen to broadcast St.Johnstone v Celtic game rather than a Rangers game. Everyone watches the Rangers games, even Celtic fans.
— TheDoubleStandard (@BillyPTSD) August 25, 2020
Why carnage??
— C3LT1C10IAR (@OperationRobo88) August 25, 2020
