We take a look at the latest newly unveiled kits from Premier League and EFL clubs for the 2022/23 season, going down well with many.
The 2021/22 campaign is over and done with, so now their attention can only turn to the next one, and with clubs still needing cash to boost their finances to make up for the last few seasons, now is the perfect time to release them to supporters, plus with the start date earlier than usual in mind.
Over the last few weeks, we’ve come across a variety of kits, some looking rather nice, though others haven’t proved popular, and then you have you just plain average bunch. Take a look at the latest collection to be launched below…
SOUTHAMPTON THIRD KIT
Southampton Football Club is delighted to announce that its official 2022/23 Third Kit is now available to buy online and in-store from today.
Created in partnership with hummel, the new Southampton FC third kit has been designed taking inspiration from the city’s rich aviation history and its connections to the RAF. The dark green and black shirt features a subtle detail design, taking reference from propellor blades.
Launched under the campaign, Bold is Brave, the club is celebrating bravery both on and off the pitch. The shirt features four stripes on either side of the shirt, in yellow, white, red and blue, taking inspiration from the RAF Roundel. The kit is matched with dark green shorts and green and black socks. The socks also feature the four stripes inspired by the RAF Roundel.
MAN CITY THIRD KIT
PUMA has launched the 2022/23 City Third kit in their first ever Metaverse kit launch.
The vibrant new kit was unveiled for the first time on Roblox giving players the opportunity to explore and interact with the new kit in the PUMA and the Land of Games experience.
The new Third jersey revealed in the experience celebrates Manchester creativity with a Fizzy Light and Parisian Night Color palette featuring bold details inspired by the city’s street art.
LEEDS AWAY KIT
Leeds United and adidas are delighted to reveal our new away kit ahead of the upcoming 2022/23 Premier League campaign.
This eagerly awaited strip for the new season is a contemporary design that sees our classic club colours of yellow and blue reimagined in a bespoke tie dye print. The explosion of pulse yellow blended with a dark blue for the shirt is a modern take on some of our iconic yellow kits from the 70s and the colour coordinated club crest sits proudly on the chest.
The collar of the shirt is a classic V-neck with a ribbed trim, with matching ribbed sleeve cuffs as you work your way down the arm. Once again, the shirt will feature our front of shirt sponsor SBOTOP, along with our recently announced sleeve partner for 2022/23, Wish.
The shorts and socks are the same dark blue colourway as the shirt and they are a regular fit made from 100% recycled polyester, with an interlock mesh ventilation.
HARTLEPOOL AWAY KIT
Hartlepool United are delighted to officially launch the new 2022/23 Errea away kit with Teesside-based Durata UK as the front-of-shirt sponsor. Local charity organisation The PFC Trust will be the back of shirt sponsor.
As one of the League Two club’s principal partners, Durata’s relationship has grown stronger over the last 12 months and that has led to the company’s logo being moved from the back of the shirt.
Durata’s blue and white branding is placed on a black banner across the chest of the new shirt, which has been produced by Errea this season for the first time.
NOTTINGHAM FOREST THIRD KIT
Nottingham Forest are delighted to reveal their new limited edition Macron third kit ahead of the 2022/23 campaign.
A blend of navy with sublimated blue and coral pattern, the stylish design will feature over the course of the season along with the red home kit and yellow and blue away kit which launched earlier this summer.
Also adorning the sleeves is the Premier League badge to mark We Are Back and the shirt is created using the same polyster fabric which formed our iconic promotion winning kits for the 2021/22 campaign.
PETERBOROUGH AWAY KIT
We are pleased to reveal the brand-new PUMA away kit, which is now on sale in the Club Shop.
Peterborough United are pleased to reveal the new Mint Green away shirt, which is now available to purchase online at www.theposhonlinestore.com, with both the men’s and women’s kits now on sale.
The men’s kit, featuring the Mick George logo and the women’s kit, featuring The Urban Penguin logo, will also be available via the Club Shop at the Weston Homes Stadium, which is open today (Tuesday) from 10am until 7pm.
The PUMA produced kit, which include green shorts and navy socks, is available in most sizes and is the final kit of the trio to be unveiled following the successful launch of the black third kit and the hugely popular blue home design.

SHEFFIELD UNITED HOME KIT
Sheffield United’s eagerly anticipated official Erreà home kit for the new 2022/23 EFL Sky Bet Championship season has been revealed.
This shirt is a celebration of the club, its history and its loyal supporters and will once again feature the famous red and white stripes on the back of the shirt and also on the sleeves. The bespoke shirt, designed and manufactured in Europe in conjunction with new Technical Kit Partner Erreà, an OEKO-TEX certified manufacturer; has the benefit of a highly technical and performing fabric: Ti-energy nanotechnology, antiviral and antibacterial water-repellent fabric.
The collar is a black ribbed crew-neck design and is accompanied by black ribbed sleeve cuffs. Due to proposed new EFL regulations, it could be the last time a Blades shirt carries stripes on the back!
ARSENAL THIRD KIT
We are proud to present our new adidas third kit for the 2022/23 season, which continues to celebrate the strength, pride and association of our supporters.
The kit, which is the first pink outfield jersey in our history, will be worn on-pitch for the first time in our opening Premier League fixture against Crystal Palace on Friday, 4 August, and sees the return of the Ermine pattern, an icon first seen on the Arsenal crest in the late 1940s, which also displayed the club’s motto; “Victoria Concordia Crescit” or “Victory Through Harmony” – a phrase which is still adopted and used by Arsenal to this day.
With vibrant colours and shades of pink, the shirt is completed with navy and clear blue trims and is combined with navy shorts and pink socks.
