We continue our look at latest new 23/24 kits from Premier League, EFL and National League clubs, check them out below…
WOLVES AWAY
The new red away strip will provide Wolves’ southern European players with a taste of home as they head on their travels this season thanks to the bespoke Castore design.
Inspired by the geometric architecture and tile patterns found around the Iberian Peninsula, the striking pattern and colour will give Wolves a fresh look for the new campaign.
Further inspiration came from the club’s popular third kit from the 2020/21 season, worn in the memorable away Premier League wins against Leeds United and Fulham, which was Wolves’ best-selling kit of all time.
ASTON VILLA HOME
“Inspired by the passion of the pride in the stands at Villa Park, the new 2023/24 home shirt design depicts a subtle print of soundwaves taken from fans singing our ‘Allez, Allez, Allez’ chant on a matchday, putting supporters at the heart of this incarnation of the famous claret and blue.
“The redesigned crest, which pays homage to our European Cup-winning heroes of 1982, appears on Villa’s playing and training kits this season.
“The club will continue to use the existing shield design around Villa Park and on our digital channels, as well as in other areas.”
WATFORD HOME
“Watford unveil a hotly-anticipated home kit for the 2023/24 season, which will be available to purchase online and in-store from Friday July 7.
“For the fourth season running, the Hornets have combined with Kelme to create a stunning, bespoke design. Featuring diagonal etched stripes this term, the black detail is scratched away, letting the Watford yellow shine through.
“Similar to Kelme’s first Watford kit in 2020/21, the new shirt features a black raglan sleeve with a yellow back. Under-arm panels give the shirt a fitted feel and the jacquard knit fabric is light and breathable, meaning it will look great from the pitch to the street.”
BOLTON HOME
“Based on the 1983/84 kit worn by the Whites 40 years ago, the design was the top-rated choice of three home kit concepts presented to supporters via the ‘Pick Our Kits’ survey back in August 2022.
“Showcasing the logo of new Principal Partner, Victorian Plumbing, this modern take on an ‘80s classic features a V-neck with navy and white stripes that are replicated on the cuffs of the sleeves.
“The Club’s embroidered crest appears on the left of the chest, over the heart, while the Macron Hero sits to the right. ‘Wanderers’ is printed in navy on the nape of the neck above the logo of new Back of Shirt sponsor, Arbworks. A customised tape also runs around the inside hem of the bottom of the shirt, repeating the famous words, ‘The One and Only Wanderers’.
“The kit is completed with navy shorts that again reference the retro design of the original kit with white stripes running down the sides. The version worn by the players will bear the logo of Back of Shorts sponsor Utilita (please note the retail shorts do not include Utilita’s logo), and white socks are finished with a blue stripe around the top.”
PRESTON HOME
With a yellow trim on the collar, shirt sleeves and shorts, as well as subtle stripes running down the jersey, the new home shirt channels a classic North End kit worn in the 1980s.
Men’s, women’s and junior sizes of the home kit will all be available to buy in-store on Friday the 30th of June, before the first team wear the strip for the first time against Bamber Bridge on Saturday the 1st of July.
OLDHAM THIRD
The new Grapevine-coloured third kit has a regular fitting and is made of 100% recycled polyester mesh. The wicking fabric is designed for maximum comfort and performance.
The shirt is inspired by the past, but built for the present. Its design draws heavily from the kit worn during the play-off campaign of 2002/03.
The shirt features a chevron pattern on the front giving it a stylish and modern look. It also has the Puma cat logo, which is a world-famous brand, at the right chest, and on both sleeves.
LINCOLN GK
“All three kits feature retro designs with the home (blue/black) kit nodding to a classic strip from the early 1990s. The away goalkeeper shirt is pink with the third strip in green.
“The shirts showcase Branston as main sponsor with Allen Signs as back of shirt sponsor. The back also pays tribute to the club’s history by including a modern take of the Imp badge used throughout the 1980s.”
