Here’s how fans reacted to the latest 25/26 FA Cup First Round TV selections revealed by BBC and TNT Sports…
@Joseph_Oakman17: St Albans robbed…
@JakeCrilley: Halifax NL v Exeter L1 how isn’t that on tv but obviously forest green rovers are on tv no shock 😂
@engine1985: Terrible picks. All I can say is at least you didn’t pick an all league clash. Wigan vs Hemel or Barnsley York should have been on though.
@AlecHitchSUFC:
Luton v Forest Green?
Instead of…
Wigan v Hemel Hempstead
Barnsley v York
Halifax v Exeter
@jake_murphy95: @tntsports You have chelmsford v braintree on a saturday 12pm, which most fans would make a Monday night kick off, due to the locality of the both sides supporters. Yet put us on a monday night, miles away from home. Yet again, match going fans put last! Disgrace
@fletchhtfc: How Hemel ain’t on here is a disgrace
@NicktheHornet: Not showing Wigan v Hemel Hempstead is a joke
@calumgill24: I know it was said at the time, but what a tragedy that so much of the world’s greatest football tournament will be hidden behind the paywall.
@GrahamDee1968:
An all non league tie being shown ?!!
Unheard of at this stage.
👏 #EssexDerby #FACup
@1stevietaylor: Brackley on the bbc happy days. Shame it’s a 5:30 as it’s BRACKLEY fireworks that night and will be going off in the field right next to the pitch at 7pm
@AllAtSeaFanzine: This is the obvious disadvantage of getting an away draw against a team in the same division: TV coverage is about as likely as a pig winning the Grand National
@haughycfc: So happy that we’re playing 3pm Saturday but you have to say that it is a crazy decision 🤣 obviously Barnsley v York is getting more viewers than 75% of these picks
@jackstringer19: Can sort of see why Maldon and Tiptree are there as the lowest ranked side remaining, even though they’re away. Luton vs FGR is a shocker.
@zac_tominski: Chelmsford vs Braintree on TNT sports 🤣🤣. I like how they’ve put non league sides on TV but put em on BBC let TNT show the shit games and not let fans of non league teams having to pay a subscription just to watch their team in the FA cup 1st round
