The Lionel Messi

One of the greatest players of our generation is undoubtedly Lionel Messi of Barcelona. Messi temporarily left the national squad after the team lost three straight championships, but he returned for one more chance at winning an international championship. By taking home the Copa America in 2021, Messi put an end to Argentina’s trophy drought. Irrespective of his future actions, Messi will always be considered one of the best players ever. The clear top player in the league is Messi.
