Caribbean nation Jamaica plot to call-up another England player ready for the 2022 World Cup according to reports this week.
After recently persuading West Ham forward Michail Antonio to play in their qualifiers, they are now on the look out for more Premier League players to snatch whilst they can, the latest being Mason Greenwood.
Ravel Morrison, Andre Gray and Kemar Roofe are also believed to be in their plans for a much transformed squad which already includes Adrian Mariappa, Leon Bailey, Bobby Decordova-Reid and Liam Moore.

19 year old Greenwood pulled out of England’s squad for the delayed European Championships for treatment on an ‘underlying injury’.
He also missed out on the Under-21 Euros back in March due to the same problem, with Aidy Boothroyd’s side finishing bottom of their group.
Greenwood has not played for the Three Lions since making his senior debut against Iceland in September – but the appearance was marred in controversy.
The teenager, alongside Man City’s Phil Foden, was sent home for breaking Covid safety rules by inviting two female guests to the team hotel.
His then teammate, 21 year old Phil Foden has since made seven more caps, with two goals, and started in two of England’s three Euros games.
Despite Greenwood not featuring for Gareth Southgate since the Covid breach, he was handed a boost by making the provisional Euros squad before withdrawing.

However the forward qualifies for Jamaica through his parents and is able to switch allegiances despite featuring in a UEFA Nations League game.
Footballers can change if they are under 21 and have played a part in no more than three competitive games.
Greenwood ended the 2020/21 season with 12 goals in 52 appearances but after the arrival of veteran striker Edison Cavani, 34, he was reduced to a role on the right wing.
Southgate hailed the versatile attacker when he explained the inclusion in his initial summer squad selection.
He said: “In terms of the past, that’s absolutely the past. I spoke with Mason before we selected him for the Under-21s in March to make that clear.
“I hope his inclusion on this provisional list shows we’re happy to select him, when young people make mistakes we move on from it, it was the same with Phil.
“He’s an absolutely outstanding finisher, there’s no question of that.
“He’s another very young player, his all-round game is still coming together but he’s clearly got an exceptional talent for finishing and that’s why we picked him in September.”

Fans reacted as Jamaica plot to call-up another England player ready for the 2022 World Cup…
@sulkphenomeno: Could be good for him. Can’t see him getting anywhere near the England team as long as Kane and Calvert Lewin are in there. Could be Jamaica’s star man aswell.
@Peter_B_04: Yeah no chance he does that. He will be England’s ST in 5/6 years.
@Ayomide08957052: But he’s gonna be Jamaica’s ST immediately
@JacobJarvis20: jamaica moving mad
@curt_curtdavies: Hard one this because he’s obviously good enough to become one of England’s best but the way the media tore into him last year without any backing from @EnglandFootball I wouldn’t blame him if he decided to give England 🏴 the 🖕 and play for Jamaica 🇯🇲
@Jskiihy: Cmon Mason Greenwood fuck England off! Join Jamaica and make ya parents and grandparents proud atleast 🤞🏽🇯🇲
@Utdchi14: I think he should go for it
@ovrcfdtMUFCfan: Imagine how sick a Greenwood Jamaica kit would be thoughhh
@benjenkers: I’d do it. Southgate is clueless
@Paul__Dawkins: Jamaica having Leon Bailey on one wing and Mason Greenwood on the other would be murderous for the rest of CONCACAF to deal with. England had better get their act together on Mason, and fast.
@mufcjbread: He should actually do this
@mark_v1: Would be very silly to do that
@eire_gooner: Surely he’s got an Irish grandparent somewhere @FAIreland
@Henry2Live: If Mason Greenwood joins Jamaica they’re gonna be serious
@I_Dream_Chase: Jamaica trying to sign greenwood 😂😂😂
@omvibhav2001: Greenwood and Ravel Morrison’s Jamaica beating England in the World Cup will be quite a sight if this does happen
@GeorgeBaaaker: English media won’t be able to ruin Mason Greenwood if he represents Jamaica, you know what to do @masongreenwood 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻
@Cantona_Collars: Players loyalties when it comes to things like this is a complexed thing. For those who are scoffing at the idea just imagine you had a child in another country I imagine you would ingrain loyalties into them for your own country. It’s a personal & complex decision for anyone.
