This afternoon, the draw for the group stage of the EF Trophy for the new season has been completed.
48 EFL clubs were already placed into pre-determined groups, the invited B teams were finally drawn live on talkSPORT on the Jim White Show at 12:30pm.

Reports elsewhere state: “The four sides will play each other once with the top two in each group advancing to the knockout stages.
“The staging of each group game will be decided by a draw, though games against the U21 sides will be home games for the EFL clubs.”
Clubs will be awarded three points for a win and one point for a draw. In the event of a drawn game (after 90 minutes), a penalty shootout will be held with the winning team earning an additional point.
