Fans took to give their reaction to the reports Michael O’Neill has agreed to become the new Stoke manager…
Don't understand it, NI are actually pretty good and still in with a shot at qualifying out of a terribly hard group and Stoke are dogshit

How has he managed to find a worse job than he already had?

This is like when Chris Coleman took over Sunderland… And it'll have the same end result pic.twitter.com/QQSY1oPVIu

@NiallQuinnLK73: He’s on 750k for managing Northern Ireland?!?! I thought only we in the Republic were grossly overpaying international managers. I’d even wanted the IFA to go the courts to take Irish football into protective custody with supervised visits for the FAI. Now I dunno what to think.
@malam_steven: You can have the best manager available, unfortunately Stoke are going be relegated. They’ve been pretending for too many years to be a premier team. In reality they are no where close. The owners are a joke, too many joke players.
@BrianHassan12: I have nothing but total respect for #MichaelONeill I truly hope he does a brilliant job at Stoke. He will never be forgotten as manager of @NorthernIreland #GAWA thanks for the memories.
@StephenGAWA: I am actually gutted that our leader Michael ONeill has chosen to go manage Stoke and leave my beloved Northern Ireland. We will be forever in his debt for letting us dream again.. #GAWA
@JakeBennett1997: Michael Oneill? ? Shouldn’t have sacked Jones.
