‘Huge statement of intent’ – 11th tier club sign TWO ex-Premier League and EFL players

‘Huge statement of intent’ as 11th tier club Westfield FC sign two ex-Premier League and EFL players in Dan Gosling and Charlie Daniels.

In June 2022, Steve Cook was announced to have taken majority ownership Westfield, and it seems he is doing incredible business with these two additions.

The club tweeted: “🀝 Signing 1 βœ…

“🚨 We are excited to announce the signing of Bournemouth legend, Charlie Daniels!

“🌟 His experience and ability will be a tremendous asset to Westfield FC in our hunt for promotion in the 24/25 season. Welcome to the club, @chazdaniels13 ! πŸ™Œβš½οΈ #Westies #AFCB”

They added later that day: “🚨 Our second signing of the season! 🚨

“We welcome ex-Newcastle, Everton, Bournemouth & most recent Notts county midfielder Dan Gosling to the club. πŸ™Œ

“Another huge statement of intent for the 2024/25 season! πŸ’ͺ #WelcomeGosling #Westies #EFC #NUFC #AFCB #NCFC”

But it seems they have big ambitions with these new additions to their squad. Getting fans and the local community excited for the forthcoming campaign.
