Sky Sports are making a huge claim as reportedly Aleksandar Mitrovic vows to ‘never play for Fulham again’ after two Saudi bids rejected.
The 28 year old Serbian is said to have told relatives he won’t be making anymore appearances for his current club again as they value him at around £52m.
According to Sky, the price, that has been quoted to agents, is likely to put off interested clubs.
Mitrovic was said to be looking at staying away from the club’s tour of the US, but now has reluctantly been convinced by agent Pini Zahavi and PFA representatives to join back up with the squad as they fly out on Thursday.
There is anger at being priced out of a move having been the subject of two failed bids from Al Hilal with Mitrovic’s agent wanting Tony Khan to lower his value to between £35m and £45m.
It gives Marco Silva an issue on tour with an unhappy striker in his squad, as doubts now emerge over Mitrovic’s willingness to play in the opening game of the Premier League season at Everton on the 12th of August.
Fulham chose not to comment after being contacted by Sky Sports News.

This is what fans are saying to huge claim as Mitrovic vows to ‘never play for Fulham again’ after two Saudi bids rejected…
@TSJLman: Come on Fulham, it’s been his dream to play for Al-Hilal ever since he was a boy.
@SibsMUFC: Seems a fair price for a striker who has scored over 50 goals in the last two seasons. Not Fulham’s problem if other clubs aren’t prepared to pay the market rate.
@Biggies_MaIIs: Get used to this shit because it’s going to happen more and more. Saudi clubs dangling massive money in front of players & agents whilst pleading poverty when it comes to transfer fees. Players head gets turned, it causes a fallout at the club and they end up caving in. Grim.
@Arron2Smith: lol mind when he cost his country the chance to go play at the euros the stupid mendy supporting rat
@craigtbfc: Give me integrity, loyalty, honour over deceit, deception and dishonesty. Give me a man who stayed and fought for his club & helped get us promoted twice Over a misbehaving, narcissistic manchild who brings his club in jeopardy. Give me Mitro over Toney..
@Carsenalcorner: The money has got to his head 🤦♂️ his best football played at Fulham now he refuses to leave because Fulham won’t let him go for a low price! 🤷♂️ #mitrovic #FulhamFC #transfernews
@SaintCoolDude: Money over legacy. Sad times for football
@Parkersafc: Imagine going on like this because you feel you’re being denied the opportunity to play football in Saudi Arabia. Scum
@Allanwild: This is where players are wrong.. they accept the massive wages from clubs.. clubs have a right to accept offers or set the value for a player.. if they don’t like it don’t sign big deals
@PeterOHanrahaH: It’d be slightly ironic after Forest were accused of doing a Fulham, and didn’t in the end. If Fulham ended up doing a 1998/1999 #nffc
@stustar1984: Should be flattered that they value him so highly but he is thinking of all the millions he will get for playing in Saudi Arabia. I’m sure he will force a move through. No club should want an unhappy player like this
@dannykearney86: Not being funny, he’s had a belter season, missed about 8 games aswell, might have got 20 goals had he not been banned. He’s easily worth that to Fulham in this mad market. 100%
@Callum041903: He’s the one who signed a contract two years ago with Fulham until 2026. They have every right to put whatever price on him. Should stop wining. Players have way too much power
@NMEverett01: It’s silly really. Don’t blame him for wanting those kind of wages, but he’s a quality PL striker. £52m is definitely a fair price. To Fulham he’s probably worth more in terms of what he does, but they need to replace him with someone of his standard 🤷🏻♂️. Any less would be a joke
@stevenffc123: He was happy to sign the contract. We went a certain price for him. If you. Don’t match our valuation. He goes no where. Harry Kane didn’t get hes move. He soon knuckled down
@KierT82: £52m is cheap, his goals kept Fulham up last year so that’s worth 100m+ to them surely
@scott_tanfield: For a long time, I’ve always felt we’ve had to play a certain way because of Mitrovic. Top dog, everything went through him, strikers didn’t want to join because of him. I’ll be very sad to lose him, but does this open up an opportunity for Marco to play a different way now? #ffc
@CravenTheHunter: Mitrovic scored 14 PL goals last season in 24 apps. He’s Serbia’s record goalscorer, one of the best target men in Europe and is contracted until 2026. £52m isn’t being priced out, it’s the bare fucking minimum. Pay it or lump it. Couldn’t care less *if* he’s upset. #FFC #Mitro
@Dan23_92: This is the Saudis game plan. Take important players from clubs and offer ridiculous levels of wages that they’ll be cuntish enough about it to do what it takes to force it through. Think this is partly why we took the fee we did for Henderson to avoid long drawn-out animosity.
@FFCVoice: Shame it’s going this way. Mitro has been paid handsomely over the last 5 years, we have been good for each other, but he signed a contract and if his value isn’t met then he’ll have to struggle by on £120k a week, hopefully he got a 5 year fixed mortgage
@LJVRacingMedia: 3 years left on contract, fresh from a good season in front of goal despite missing a fair chunk of the campaign. Our valuation at £52 million is more than fair
@RhysDalySport: Feel sick to the core over this. Took on Mitrovic when he was at his lowest and he was well on course to be a top three legend of the club. I don’t think I’ll ever forgive him. Paid £120,000-per-week by Fulham – a fortune for his wife and kids. Gutted.
Yup, looks furious…
We’ll see him in Philly, DC, Orlando and vs Everton on the 12th. pic.twitter.com/hE7n7ubPE7— Graying Sideburns (Bryan) (@BryanLake12) July 19, 2023
